I have had this very problem for the past few months. It will idle all day but as soon as I drive it or rev it 2000rpm or more, within 8 minutes it cuts out. Can you tell me where these wires are so I can check.

Thanks guys - I will have to do a diagnostics first and check for codes. Although The fuel filter is new as the other one was dripping all over the place for quite a while and it was becoming hard to start thus the fuel filter was changed and it seems to be worse now than before.

Hi Guys, Back again. My problem with the TD5 is still persisting so rather than drive it and break down along the road I thought I would do a test by running the engine at stand still. So I ran the engine at 1500 revs for 20 mins, then took it up to 2000 revs for 5 mins, then took it up to 2500...

Yes Sorry fella I have updated Profile introduction before anyone jumps on me. Thanks for your reply. The Fuel filter was changed a month ago due to it leaking, so should be ok. The Fuel pump makes quite a noise though.

I have a DT5 Disco 2002 2.5, My 4x4 used to start straight away but now takes quite a few goes for it to start and today it cut out twice and struggled to restart. The first time it cut out I eventually got it started and drove home ok until just before my turning it started running uneven again...
