thanks for help guys , im thinking of the new bar , it will only have occasional use for trailor or horse box. Do i need electrics by law if towing trailor and my tail lights will be clearly visable???

hoping someone can help , im looking at purchasing a tow bar flange type for my freelander , i have a td4 se 3 door on a 04 plate( newer shape ) , can any one recommend , ive see a few on ebay for around the £80 mark , however im confused as they are asking for bolt ons for electric packs etc...
