Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows the location of the dcu unit for the srs system?, I believe it' is in the centre console somewhere?, struggling to find pictures of roughly where and what it looks like, it's a 2001 4.6 vogue

been through all the threads and checked all plugs, seat, pillars, glove box, under steering column, still fault is there, left battery disconnected for 30 mins still there, does this have to be now reset at the garage, another question can the plugs be done away with and just solder the wires...

she"s up and running :), turns out it was the metal arm on the key lock it had come adrift just hanging there, so no matter how many times i tryed the EKA code it just was not getting a signal, i connected it up waited for the dash to clear punched in the EKA code and hey presto we are running...

ok i"m in, coat hanger did the trick :), lights are flashing and there is a message on the dash "engine disabled" tryed the fob nothing tryed the EKA code nothing suspect it could be the door mechanisum not working, will take door card off to have a closer look.

i will give that a try in the morning, does it not make a difference if the bonnet is open, as there is a switch on there to tell you if its open or closed.

Hi i got home from working away and the wife tells me the battery died about a week ago, i went out to get something from the glove compartment and manualy opened her with the key and locked her back up again with the key, i ordered a new battery and when it arrived i went out to fit it, i tryed...
