Well just picked it up from the garage,they changed the fluid etc,but no joy,they would have to remove box and replace "drum" ? looking at £600 or if it needs a rebuild up to £2k, well it is a 2001 so only worth that so ,anyone want a cheap motor????? thanks for your help and interest

Only had the car a few months so no idea when the fluid was changed,but had the same answer from a garage who said hopefully it just needs a service,will post on here the outcome, 83,000 miles on clock by the way. thanks for your response.

Hi all,Would like to pick your brains please, have a 2001 Freelander diesel auto and its as if the clutch is slipping as it tries to change up in the higher gears or if I try to accelerate again in the higher gears,I know it will have to go to a garage but is there any little ( hopefully )...
