Also check out the clutch bracket. Mine had exactly the same problem, and was taking most of my strength to change gear sometimes. Changing the bracket sorted it permanently.

Not looking for any myself, just looking at the project threads and it dawned on me that I hadn't seen any for the FL1, but then again, I hadn't been actively looking for them either.

I'll admit I only had a cursory look, but the few sites I was looking on simply said "delivery when in stock", or "direct from manufacturer", with nothing concrete. Thought you guys would know for sure... :)

I've had landrover tell me on different occasions that the ES Premium and the HSE is the top spec for the freeby 1. Both were adamant it was the particular model they were talking about that was the best, so my question is, which is it really?

Is this a standard fit part? I've had my freebie for 11 years, and I've never seen it light up! But then, I didn't know there was a light in the glovebox until a few weeks ago...

The master and slave is a single sealed unit. It shouldn't get air inside unless you open the lid on top (don't do this...)

Most breakdown companies will take you somewhere, even if you don't have an mot. The day the mot ran out on my dead range rover, the AA came and moved it 15 yards from the road onto my drive, no problem at all. Also had the RAC move a Freelander to a garage when I wanted them to check over...

This was about 10 years ago. Since then I put my ego in check and accept there's many other people who know considerably more about my car than I do :)
