I have mostly the same setup as yourself except the welded diff. Just takes a bit of getting used to, i.e dont go into roundabouts to quick as you may not exit them on 4 wheels

I currently have QT trailing arms, but they are no more. So Im not sure if a johnny joint would fit on these arms. I may have to get some new trailing arms and johnny joints

So I currently have rose jointed trailing arms but these are now knocking which seems quite common, so Im looking perhaps to change to johnny joints. Just wondered what others are running and some advice on whats best to run with 3" sus lift and 2" body lift.

Maybe a stupid question this, but when buying parts from ebay sometimes you get asked what landy it is i.e LJ, LJ-LG or LJ_. The LJ is the only 4.0 option but LJ_ covers 2.5TDI and 4.0 while LJ-LG has them all. Is there any difference between LJ-LG and LJ_ for the 2.5 TDI and I take it LG...

Just a bit, but the dogs prefer the landy as well. My fuel seems to last a bit longer as well now but you dont buy an M5 and think and worry about your mpg

After several years away have bought another discovery 300TDi. Ive had more issues with newer cars than I had with my last 300 TDi what with a 2010 RRS with the dreaded snapped crank and the latest was an M5 F10 which just cost a fortune for anything that went wrong. So if you are running 255 65 18 they are bigger than 255 70 16..Have you had any rubbing issue's etc..I take it you still have EAS and not converted to coil. Wammers thanks also for the info Royal

I haven't bought the tyres yet, so cant measure...just want to see what the general consensus is and if any one runs that size or larger

Hi Guys I know the p38 tyre size question has been posted many times, and I know if I fit 255 70 16 then the speedo reading will be inaccurate. But what I am trying to find out is if the car one day decides to sit on the bump stops will 255 70 16 rub ??

Just bought 96 plate disco, so hopefully this is the place to come if I need any help
