Evening, Got a query removed the neighbours battery from Td5 2004 and over the past 2 days with the drop in weather ,minus 4 and snow I’ve noticed the back end has dropped, would removing the battery have caused this to happen, battery has not been refitted as awaiting new battery.

Oh well after 19 years & on its genuine boot window regulator , the wiring decided to snap tonight. Now I know you can get replacement regulators. Is there any way or has anyone just kept the window a solid fix without replacing regulator?
