Ok to answer the question for the message on the dash with the key in the ignition. It does say “key in ignition” when opening the right door, passenger side for me but not for the left one. However I think that might have something to do with configuration in the becm.

I also cleared the rf memory thinking it would work after that. I guess my patience will be tested.

I verified also continuity between the rf receiver and the becm. Everything is ok. I do have 2 fobs but i get the same response, nothing 😤

Yes you should put the ignition to off for comms with becm. It doesn’t work with ignition on.
