Yes I too would change the bonnet switch they are not the best or just link it out see if it behaves.

crank sensor is low down in the right wheel arch. perhaps getting water in and missing a pulse?

The alarm going off it’s likely to be faulty bonnet switch. I just linked mine out.

It does sound like turbo boost pipe as for the tires and clutch they are consumables also with a high mileage are the wheel bearings so I would not deem that surprising.

I had endless trouble with the alarm going off for no reason. It turned out to be the bonnet switch which are relatively cheap and easy to replace. I chose to just link the wiring out disabling the switch as it’s very difficult to get into the bonnet without releasing it from inside the car...

How do you know

When you put the fob in it should unlock the steering. Until it does that the ignition won’t come on. Sometimes it’s just a case of jiggling the steering.

By the way CJB (central junction box) is another name for body control module. It is one of the many “computers” (micro controllers) on a freelancer 2

The body control module can get a signal from either they key fob radiolink or the pushbutton on the back door. It then sends a signal to the boot release. So the radio link from the key fob and the boot release are both working which only leaves you with the pushbutton on the boot lid.

Sounds like a faulty switch or wiring on the tail gate release button.

As Nodge says there is a button on the dash if you want them on going forward, also turns them off if you don’t want them. Orange light is on when they are operating.

That is what mine has but I thought some models had a key?

Is it a key? If so try wd40 in the key hole.
