    Disco 2 D2 TD5 Auto - Hesitation

I think this is quite common, especially when cold. Mine did that but much worse until I changed the MAP/IAT sensor. If you can have a look at live data it might tell you how your MAP/iat is behaving. You could always just take it out and clean it, very carefully, don't go poking anything down...

I have to agree, if I am honest, it is far enough away to be reassuring more than anything else, but the ones on the front, really cannot see the point of them. The box trailer has front ones quite high up and they got dead annoying. I suppose one answer is to avoid driving with it at night!!🤣

Just got through most of servicing the big machine, exhaust tappet needed a bit of tightening, cleaned the airfilter as best as poss without getting a new one. Can't find the part number easily, grr! Spark plug gap was fine but it shows it's been running rich, which I suspected, prolly down to...

I have to agree about stalks etc. My old box trailer has the vertical posts you use to lock it down with i.e. to stop it moving when parked and being loaded etc. They are right on both rear outer corners, so visible in mirrors, but not annoying. The car trailer has those rubber flexi ones which...

I have just harvested yet more "haricots verts". We have so many, (and W doesn't eat them) that I think I am going to try and make them into soup. Maybe do the same with the beef toms which are suge! ;)

I find the forward facing marker lights on mine a pain, even though they aren't bright, they keep catching my eye and making it difficult to see vehicles lurking behind them. I don't even know why you have to have them. Sideways facing, I would understand, although that is covered by the...

I don't own a D3 so cannot help you directly. @gstuart is the guru on them hence I tagged him. Have you contacted the seller to ask/tell them about this as it looks like he/she sold you a pup? At least as far as this is concerned.

Warmer, dry and sunny over here. Just about to go out and water as CBA to do it last night in the dark. Need to fish out the paperwork to find out what to set tappets to on the big machine. Not even sure they will be in it. W and I have had some sort of mix up, wot with her not being in the...

P38A Oil loss at the engine

You can make a tool with a flat bar of steel. cut a short piece off, drillholes so that you can put a nut and bolt in one about 6 to 8 inches up the long peiec, and a corresponding one in the end of the short piece. So you are left with a Y shaped tool with a very long handle. Then drill holes...

You can't really, except by editing them to empty then leaving a full stop. It might be nice if you told us how you sorted the problem out, it may help others in the future.
