    Double press lock button on the fob, this switches off the internal motion sensors. Have had to lock mine this way for years.

    I use my rear tow hitch on the 90, now doing the same on the d3 since the sensors packed up.

    Fuel pin seized in the injection pump. had it happen on a 200 (same pump) and was as flat as a wet fart! Item B, 5 mins work to get at, only 4 screws to remove.

    TD5 might be different but I think the TDI had a purple wire to the rear light clusters that was permanent live worth a look

    if I remember correctly the brake pedalswitch has two circuits one for the brake light and second circuit to switch off the cruise.

    Crap old pics, but you can see what I did, pics dated 2015 and all still okay. Just wired to a toggle switch under the dashboard. Car runs fine even with the pump switched off, but will lack power on hills until you switch the pump back on. Also makes filter changes and bleeding it a doddle.

    I may have replied earlier, but bypassing the mechanical lift pump and fitting a Facet copy one off of ebay works well.

    Dont think the threads have anything to do with the union seal, that is on the end of the pipe.

    Blocked dpf is the end result of something else failing. All the inactive codes will have a part to play in this. Ps D4 belongs in the discovery section.

    Yes all available on their own, 2 m8 bolts each corner of the frame. 300 is the same style but rad and cooler both different port positions etc.

    Rad looks good fins intact and not folded over and it is the metal type, I would clean that inside and out and use again, intercooler looks shagged, cheap enough on ebay. One of many...

    What Marjon means is with the rockers fitted and no cambelt, if/when you rotate the engine to line up the timing marks any open valves could make contact with the pistons. So safest to remove rocker gear then fit belt etc. This why when engine has a cambelt change during normal works you line up...

    Are you sure the tensioner mount was okay and not cracked? this was a big failure point a few years ago, and the oil pump casting has been superseded a few times to strengthen it. Damage on the edge of the cambelt would suggest to me that the belt is being run off the edge of the pullies. Sadly...

    How had the timing slipped? tensioner/belt etc. How did you lock/tome the crankshaft? Interference engine so anything less than perfect could be bad news.
