Is it the original LCM? maybe someone replaced it with the wrong model year. Later LED version etc. Is the tamper dot displayed on the cluster?

Surely it would take a lot of fuel to hydrolock it. And once the valves have opened the fuel would have been forced out.

I know it's unlikely but easy to rule out.

Is it worth taking the injectors out and making sure the HG hasn't gone and it's hydro locking? Had that on a 300tdi.

This says to me the compressor can't get any pressure into the system. Not tried it but assume there's a way to disconnect the output connection and see if you can stop the air with you thumb over the hole. Assuming you don't have a pressure gauge. If it's pumping air out then as others have...

I think it's more like 60mph, mine drops to motorway regularly and I don't do 100mph :)

Have you tried the battery disconnect for half hour reset procedure. And shorting the terminals together (NOT BATTERY TERMINALS) to drain residual power from the ECU's?
