Just a thought it was. These engines don't like the cheap ones though. Once had 3 fail at same time which caused a total none start. A thought have you caught any of the glow plug wires changing the pump or even the wire to number 4 injector

Were the glow plugs good quality ones ie Beru, NGK or the like or the cheap ones off the bay. The ones from the far east are very poor for starting as I can vouch from past experience

Old gal been stud for over a week whilst away on holiday. Dropped a little bit but thats just self levelling as is normal where parked. Fired up first go and straight up to normal height so tret her to a run to Sheffield to my mothers so as to shake the cob webs away :D

Pop into a shop, buy a bottle of cold water and pour it over the top of fuel injection pump. Over heat sensor just under cover and can stop it firing when too hot. water trick can cool it down enough to make it fire up

It may be running but is it making any air. If the piston seal is worn you will get very little pressure.

4 shraeder valves . I keep a set in a little tin in the boot for just such an emergency. Never had to use them since I bought them YET;)

For a week or so old gals been a bit hesitant on pulling away especially uphill. Cut a long story short narrowed it down to MAP sensor. Had a discount code for the bay so ordered a brand new one for £27. Fitted yesterday and the difference is just what the doctor ordered. Now quieter, smoother...

I used something similar off the bay a few years back. Did improve it
