ok good, not too much of an issue, edc manual should be better on fuel than the non edc in standard tune, and slightly more responsive.

Its not too complicated to get the edc to work (i hope/assume) The flywheel needs some reference points added to is for the crank sensor, and the crank sensor needs fitting to the manual bell housing. I assume the auto flywheel has 4 pickup points as opposed to using the missing tooth method?

you could always buy a freelander, still a landy, still offroader, cheaper on fuel but with just as many (if not more) problems to fix!, keeping you off the street and in the garage! :)

I use zx1, its more or less the same idea, but a fluid not a solid. Snake oil or not, it seems to make the engine run better.

im not keen on slick 50 although I have no doubt it does allow an engine to run dry of oil or water and re-fire again after cooling. Somthing to do with suspended ptfe particles etc
