It does a bit,I wouldn't say excessively. The gear selection is pretty good with no stirring around to find a gear,b it may be worth having a play with the spring.

New switch arrived today, plugged it in and bingo all working fine now

Fitted a complete new wing in the end, managed to pick up a genuine Land Rover top section for peanuts so right result there. Wasn't too bad a job to do in the end just a bit fiddly

Far from it, might cut the old one off, hopefully get to the bolts easier

I need to replace the n/s/f outer wing section and repair the top and headlamp sections. How easy or hard is it to do in situe as I will need to straighten the other bits with a slide hammer and this will be easier with it still bolted to the motor. Cheers

Straightened the wing out round the wing vent and made a grill to cover the ragged bits over and keep me legal until I can find a wing

Cheers for that not sure why that's not working, I used the img link as I have before. It also tore out my snorkel from the side of the wing but hey ho stuff happens

It had to happen at some point, turned into a very overgrown and legal lane may I add and didn't see the heavily camouflaged lump of tree resulting in damaging my wing...

Im looking for a wing for my 1989 90, as complete and straight as possible, ideally as close to Essex as poss or willing to post if miles away. Paul

forgot to say, with them being a fully sealed unit no more front mounted fish bowls :)
