L322 pulling my hair out! (Not much left)

Yes so the diag found 2 things , 1 that the immobiliser wasn’t working properly, and 2 that the fuel pressure wasn’t right, he said that I should deal with the IMMOBILISER first and then move to the pressure sensor on the fuel rail, just checking there’s nothing I’m missing by accident (like...

Well, we’ve tried so many things, then with a diag mechanic coming out he narrowed it down to either the fuel pressure sensor or the immobiliser , but suggested crossing off the immobilisation first.

Okkk. Back again, just been over to fit the ÉCU, aaand nothing. But with the ECU was a note from the company that deactivated the immobiliser which said “if the car won’t start, bypass the immobiliser relay” … now looking online I can see that my RR doesn’t have a relay for the ECU, so does he...

Have got my ÉCU booked in with a company who disable the immobiliser for £50 . Hopefully that will be the end of the story :)

Yes that’s what the garage said, I’m going to look at buying a replacement ÉCU with immobiliser disabled.

AH that's interesting so do you think if I bypass the steering wheel column that this whole immobiliser issue might be solved? (IF my key is good)

Interesting, but then I would need to reprogram the ECU to the car ? Would it not be easier to just reprogram the key? … also weirdly the steering wheel lock doesn’t seem to ever be on… can turn it whether car is on or off etc

The garage has offered to bypass the immobiliser for 400 euros … not sure if that’s the best idea. Would prefer to sync the key properly

Hey all, ok an update!! So I had a prof mechanic come today with a diag. This is what he found, firstly he said the fuel pressure sensor was not working (I suspected this and was hoping it was this.. easy fix) however he then told me that the diag picked up this code P1602 , which is related to...

do you think that’s more likely than the ECU completely packing up?

Hi mate, thanks for the this, Sorry to be so stupid, but it’s connector 4 on the OBD, and then pin 32 on the ECU?

Yes, welcome to my hell, haha,. I was thinking to pay a mechanic to come over with a more professional reader… but would that help?
