Fitted new RF Receiver tonight took 10 mins maximum fingers crossed this resolves the engin disabled and central locking via the remote issues. I can now lock and open it via the remote from about 15 yards instead of having to be right next to the car YIpeeeeee .THanks to all for the help...

I have tried the key in the ignition and pushing the open button but that does not work . I will try the unlock lock while holding the buttons tomorrow. Yes the red led works fine new batteries about 3 months ago .

Just pulled the connector under the drivers seat but still getting warning after replacing connector.started it up seems even without driving the car and me not I the car the warning is still comming on and off and on . Maybe that rules out loose connector ?

It's only staying on for a few seconds then off again grrrrrr. Then back on a minute or so later then off again . Defo loose connection doing my head in already lol

Just checked under seats can't see yellow harness but don't seem to be any loose connections . There is defo a loose connection someplace cause it's comming on willy nilly then going off again . Another connections I can check ?
