This works a treat, I found on my 300TDi that half the dash lights were not working so there is a common culprit. Also check your ABS sensor, always give a load of bother.

there was a disco 4 at the devils pit a few months back, looked well out of place but the hooraj henry's driving it had a real hoot! I was surprised at how well it went!

I had to get a new one reprogrammed at a Landrover dealer

I got a new ignition key cut and took the grass clippings out of the boot, Goes much quicker without the grass clippings.

You do need to keep on top of the tin worm in a disco alright. Our local Land Rover GURU at Ballysimon motorworks in Mallow, only hatess two vehicles in all the world, any p38 and the freelander. Outside of that I reckon you'll be grand so!

You have it spot on there. As for the Auto lock specialist, these weasels in cork are supposed to be that specialist. I'm more than happy with two keys just as long as the doors open with out power. I'm just getting one step ahead of the spiders as I know it's going to happen at some point...

Yup, I can open with a fob and start and run with the key I have, I'm just royally confused with the whole matching up door barrels to ignitions barrels. I guess that I am predicating the inevitable dead battery and the ability to still be able to get in the disco. C
