maybe just me but if I see P plates I give them a bit more room and consideration as I know they may panic or just get manouver wrong

personaly I think P plates should be compulsary and not allowed on motorway untell passed one year (to get little experiance behind wheel) . whilst on rant ots stupid that they can pass in a mini (or other small car) and drive dads fast/powerfull car same day

just googled that question and it seems do-able but you need to know what your doing or get sparky to do it. vids of how to on u tube :)

don't forget if you do 2" lift it could cause problems with back of caravan when towing , unless you drop ball hitch ( which defeats object of lift)

timing on separate woodruff key . sprocket behind casing . new front pulley iro £40 new woodruff and do up f..in tight. pulley don't affect timing:) what prob you having with timing ?
