fully charged should be iro 14.5 volts so pos a cell gone on yours, will power on bench test cos no load (just spinning free)

I buy mine from a mate who gets it delivered ,shed full at a time. expect hes making a little on deal but I pay £1.10 ltr and mix it with straight veg oilno hastle of making it and no upset niebourse when it go`s bang:)

raid an exhaust place for bit of pipe with bend on it, cut and fit. I used bit of transit one on mine for a while worked fine

good evening and welcome, from what you say I would take a good look at defenders ,year depends on budget ,and would also recommend derv as petrol v8 can be a bit fragile if neglected (you know what they say, mechanics car last to get attention )

as post 4 . plus you could use jump lead direct to starter motor just to prove its working (bypasses all inhibitors that way so don't be in front in case gear stuck!!)

most landy owners fit strongest battery that fits carryer ,regards fixing it securly unless your doing concorse standard its fairly earsy to convert/make somthing up. my disco ones made up and mot guy has no probs with it . hunt in most scrappys will get couple of J type bolts then flat bar over...
