took the car to the garage for driveshaft doing due to the loud clicking, had bought a new drive shaft. now tells me it`s the front prop.not happy:mad:

this only clicks on acceleration first to third , drop into fourth around thirty mph it stops, accelerate and it starts again. i was told it might be a inner front driveshaft bearing,so will have to have a look when it stops raining. problem is noises from under cars don`t always come from where...

so i had the prop changed ,and it still makes a clicking under the car :mad:.will have another look when weather gets better.

it was the shoes surface that had started to break up, they were cheapish ones so i went for some ferodo ones this time. hoping that they last a bit longer. i was also having problems with the mechanisms siezing up on a regular basis.

replaced handbrake shoes again for the mot. lets see how long these last.:rolleyes:

hello, i have a similar problem,sometimes when i put the fob in the dash it spits it back out and you have to hold it in until it decides to engage, the the other day i struggled again but this time it accepted the fob but the car would not start, and then everything started to flicker on and...

i just didn`t have the patience.i spent a couple of hours trying but it just kept falling down the pipe. but i am sure somebody on here might know a easy way to do it.

remember to take the side panel from the centre console, & disconnect the vent pipe from the bottom . i had to retrieve the back part of mine many times from the bottom of the pipe:mad:.i was trying to hold it with long nose pliers & then tried large tweezers but it just kept pinging back off...

my fl2 did this it was the bottom offside mount ,the rubber had broken away from the aluminium housing.

i know. just haven`t got around to fitting the other side, after the trouble i had fitting the nearside one. i used two pairs of spring compressors and still struggled.so i just keep putting it off.

i would consider a new one than mine,its the electrical gremlins that are putting me off.:( mine has a power drain, and can`t find what`s causing it ,nothing shows up on diagnostics.

i noticed that the later GS models had leather from about 2011,a lot better than the earlier interior.
