Hi I got a ex mod defender 90 with I am told an series door types. Sliding windows split top and bottom etc. I were gonna put rubber seal in between and I unbolt the nut and it sheared off. Can I renew the bolt ?? Any pics ?

Grand. I didn't realise u could remove engine and gearbox and tranny in one go. Chain around engine and that is it eh ? That will be easier for me. Did u put chain around gearbox too for support or not ?

Yes. Two ways. One make it as 100 inch defender using 110 rear tub and roof etc and everything else from disco. Other is shorten the chassis but get q plate etc Look at dorio 4x4 defender build website

Phew. I thought u were gonna scrap with axles. U got the right idea. Sell parts for those who does need it etc. one question how did u scrap it without wheels. Did u get a lorry with pickup ?

Are u swopping the axles both front and rear ? And reattach the defender axles on to the disco and then scrap it ?

Hello. When I was removing the old radio box in the back of my ex mod 90 I noticed the box was bolted to the side with earth scrap and earth scrap in the chassis just above the rear wheels. I removed both and since then my towing light comes on green ?? It the rear tub earthed ??? Just wondering

I was the same with mine 90 hardtop until I noticed turn round and pull out. Easier and faster from the pumps. I use the filler when I put in the veg oil in etc

Airways. U know u replace the engine etc. did u remove the flywheel housing off the n/a and put it on the 200 tdi engine ??? I am just writing down what I need and etc. Borg clutch. Reinforced fork and timing belt etc while the 200 tdi is out then drop it in. Work to begin march time etc...

U using engine crane ? If so. Couple hours. Be done While u take the slave clutch off inspect the flex hose etc. so u can know to replace that when u have done the clutch change etc Plenty of sealant to mate the bell house with engine etc. good luck
