how has everybody fixed the bracket to the car topside?

had a play with the rattle cans, front end tidy up after winter, bloody road salt,, new front fog light fitted, others were totaly fubar,

took spare wheel carrier off, welded the cracks, primed and top coated it, 2 new tyres on the rear, GG AT3's,

put new rear shocks on, replaced the tin mud guard bits atthe same time, ride is quiet now, a little more refined, not as harsh as the super gaz, tried the super gaz shock off the car by pushing it in, it sort of stuters as it expands, er fooked i would guess! just front to do now,

well ive a new set of springs and standard hyd shocks sat in the green house , came today so gonna put it all on and get rid of the squeking super gaz shocks, hopefully the new front coils will sort the listing out and maybe stop the wandering,watch this space!

but would you not think the fronts have got a bit tired too? the 473mm sounds about right, my drive is level just that i am gonna put new shocks alround, as the super gaz squeak like fook, it has done my head in, the shaft inside, ive taken em off and lubed em once, cured it for a month or so...

ive equaled the rear up tonight, as rear pass side was down, but front drivers side is down, odd! it's the 1st one ive ever had on air, had it 6yr now, but it wanders over the road now and again, tramlining!! ive tried alsorts to stop it, shocks,tyres, pressures, linkage bushes, watts...

its the front in question not the rear, am i right in thinking they are handed too!,

yeh! measured from centre cap to underside of the arch, spot on, used my Hawkeye!

car sits 50mm less on drivers side than passenger side, 04 do you think new springs will sort it out? and how about any recommendations on springs!

JCB Telehandler, best lift it has had! waxoyl mixed with digger grease/cyclip oil, just passed MOT at lakeland landrover, they also checked it with a fine tooth comb, solid as a rock underneath, 130miles 04, pursuit!

some canker on your chassis, How old is the car? i did my linkage in the Autumn, Genuine bushes, Radius arms to, then it get the pre winter treatment, picture of the silver one i had, but the black one gets the same every year!

doesn't take long to replace them, i use a vice, done a few sets now, only Gen bushes, if they have lasted over 10years or more, they arn't that exspensive, i have an old set and just fit new bushes then exchange em for your old set!
