A good late D2 is worth 5k in my eyes, if its solid, clean and all working, they are easy to maintain, reliable if you look after them, go anywhere, still look modern, practical, although not as refined as a modern car, but are made stronger, if you get a D3 and it goes wrong you could buy a D2...

Dinitroled front half of car, steamed it off last night, steamer on max, it was tropical and ****ty as old waxoyl flying everwhere,

i was dubious to do it! but ive seen what some garages do, so took the bull by the horns and bought a set, £350.00 quids worth of gear took me 2hours, job done, so not an economic repair, but i know its a good one, now ive steamed it off, steam cleaner at max temp, all chassis etc back to bare...

well after some fook ups! horrble looking welds, i got it set up right, wire speed and all cleaned up metal, welded ok! not perfect as in looks for first attempt but ok, grinder helped, all primed and top coated, undersealed, you cannot tell really! so a good result!

Bought a Mig from machine mart, any tips on how to! i can Gas welded, but no bottles now, i can arc and have a 180amp but thats no good, so bought a Clarke MIG151EN Turbo No Gas/Gas MIG Welder, got it all ready to setup for Gas,

took plastic arch liners off, rough as sandpaper, bought a set before and primmed and satin blacked em, refit next week,

drivers side sits down lower than pass side, sagged with age,

going to change the front springs, just want a straight swap, no lift, no heavy duty etc, just general road springs, any suggestions and where from!
