motor housing is rotten,

motor frame is rotten, so will not spin as it is all mashed up inside, i havent taken it fully apart as easier to get a 2nd hand one

the aircon fan, seized solid, rotten casing, knackered, can it be left as is? Removed? And car still function, no lights etc, or has anybody got a non seized one for sale?

if you take your time you would be able to mask up well, i took mine off and did them and then got some 3m tape of ebay and put em back on then sealed the top edge with black silicone , the good stuff,

what if it gets in when open! pollen, tree blossom, road grime, what if it has had a monkey on top at chester zoo and it **** on the roof, washing it off can get into the frame and into the drain tubes, if he went often and lots of monkey **** it would soon fill up! lol

Plasticote black satin paint, plastic primmer after a light sand, i did mine last year, came up a treat!

Drain tubes, front corners nearest to windscreen

Drain blocked,if you open the roof and look very hard or a peice of stiff wire and poke you can find the exit in the drain, they block up, ive just done one on the one i am doing up, rear sunroof was blocked drivers side, but ive just taken all roof linning out and re sealed both sunroofs etc...

Got wheels back today, full refurb, then started and finished all rear interior back in, rear bumper all back on, ready to start on the front half now, will turn car around tomoz then strip front off!

no you dont need to remove the headlinning to do the seals, where is it leaking! there is 2 drains tubes in either corner they block, or the sunroof looses the waterproof seal on the roof and water gets in there!

i used cheap ones, 1 ok 1 would not work, they sent me another and it was ok , send your hawkeye back and get it upgraded free of charge

roof/ headliner done, Weathersheild paint, 2 coats good drying day, all back in roof wise, led bulbs in, sunroofs etc all running great,

todays play, sunroofs out, previous owner had sealed them from the outside, dont think they were leaking but the thick line of silicone on the roof looked crap, so out they came, cleaned all off, did roof bars too! waxed the roof then refit them with low mod frame sealant, all back in, got...

about an hour and half it took me, you dont realise how much stuff is inside a car until it is fully strippexd!,
