Hi there , I replaced the battery and it's still not connecting, the only reason I'm trying to fix this is to trouble shooting a canbus error. Is there a module for it ?

Where is the unit located? Judging by that picture is it behind the wheel arch or in the foot well?

You might be onto something as our car has suffered water damage to the headliner.

I'll pass that along It was built in 2004 but from the paper work it's a 2005 model. 54 plate, not sure wether that makes a difference.

Hello again Fairly recently my discovery 3 has started displaying the message ENGINE SYSTEMs FAILURE then I lose all power and the car sounds like a Harley Davidson ( running on two cylinders) The only recent work done to the car is New disks and pads K&N air filter Half a silicone hose...

I couldn't say as I haven't been present when it was done though we are all long term land rover owners so I'd Imagen they did. (As it was our mate that does them)

Well it was 2 different sorts One was a snap on The other was from our mates work as he is an MOT tester. Laptop type that generally does every car going. Would it benefit from going to a land rover specialist.

😂The only reason I mentioned that is when my dad came home to show us the new car, I found that the headlights had been zip tied on. I thought my discovery 3 was bad enough for irritating faults

I guess you just start with what doesn't work right ? The only other thing that stands out is the front two headlights, dipped beam on one head light has a yellow beam the other has a white/blue colour.

Well so far we have replaced Both front suspension arms New compressor New rear air bags New rear heigh sensors(not fitted) After the MOT it now needs Rear subframe bushes Rear suspension arms both sides We have have had this car plugged in several times and it just returns can bus error...

Fair enough, we have been trying to diagnose air suspension -hdc inactive faults since we bought it. So just wondered if they had any relevance. Cheers
