Pump is on?..after a few pumps and a worrying 10seconds it fired up!!......I let it run for a few min..turned off and back on and it fired up like it should.... nice win tonight....now to the next problem lol

Banbury...iv spoke to the bloke I got it from ( work ) he's had it 12 years and sat for a year and half before I got it...he said he never changed it....might just do it anyway it's £35 for a Delphi one...atleast it's done

So I see this online and when I turn it over IF diesel comes out the lift pump is ok....if it DONT then it's ****ed....nothing came out mine lol

Click test on solinoid done so that's working..

Also I took this off to see if fuel came out.... and a small drip came up out the engine?!?! I thought it's meant to come down the pipe???

So I took that pipe of and turned it over...no suction at all....( side question ) there should be something right? Even if the solinoid is faulty? Just trying to tick things off the list...I thought there would still be something

The belt was changed 2 weeks ago so it's not that....I have been jiggling the fuel cut off on the injection pump and it splutters for a second and then just keeps turning.....it's been perfect but last night as I say it turned a bit then spluttered into life but today just turns and turns and...

Looking closer at the mechanical pump it is wet...and the little lever is really limp and easy to push up and down...has that gone so you think?

Yesterday randomly my 200 didn't want to start it just turned over for 5 seconds before starting....this morning it's just turning and turning...it did splutter once showing it might start but it didn't....any guesses????

Sorted! Thanks for that....still abit confused why when the dipped lights are on I have a dash light sayin full beam...and then goes off when I go full lol.....at least that’s sorted thanks again!

Thanks :) so ye I do have the side lights,,,and the dipped are the big lights and the high beam are also the same unit.

Urghhhh.....pull off trim give the connectors a little clean and see what happens....then start replacing things....starting from the cheapest haha
