Olla, I've looked at post on here about the common rot between the outer rear arch and the 'c' pillar. Just wondered , is the c pillar aluminium? As the arch only seemed to be siliconed to the the c pillar. If so how can I join the two. Can I mig aluminum to the steel arch ?:(

Ok so I've sorted it, it turns out that washer that dusts behind the mechanism is important, it acts as a spacer . So mine had fallen down the door , I forgot about it and tightened everything up without it , bending the mechanism. This allowed the lever to by-pass the lock and so didn't lift...
