The Clarke 160en is a good machine, been using mine a lot for the last year and a half with no issues what so ever. Don't go with small bottles, it will cost you a fortune. Get your self a hobby weld co2 argon mix. You will get nice clean welds lasts longer and it's not that expensive.

Easy option is to put the third child seat in the front and put the wife in the middle back seat. Problem sorted no need to change anything or loose your disco ;p

Well the latest up date is my disco past it's mot with no advisories, so it back on the road with one or two little issues, first the gear or transfer box is sounding in a bad way plus the transfer box is leaking oil. So I have a spare transfer box to put in then will start a rebuild of my own...

Well first off my disco passed its mot on fri after nearly a years worth of work getting done to it but all is not well. Once I got out on the road to head to the mot station I could hear a whine coming from ether the transfer or gear box, now it only happens when in gear and sounds a lot...

Get a good bit of heat on to it with a map/propane gas blow torch that should free it off

What are the pins through your front bumper called? The ones with the shackles in them? Could do with some my self and have the same front bumper as your self.

It's all relatively simple repairs you have there. Word of warning if you have not already checked the rear end you will more than likely find a few more holes thre to. Discos are simple to work on easy to patch or replace whole panels so don't be put off with the rust, get your self a angle...

It's back together. Had it out the garage today to wash it off and check for any water leaks. Looks like I have most of it sealed up nice and tight. Hope for mot in a week or so.

If you need a arch I have a new surpluses to requirement arch you can have for a couple of beer tokens. Can't remember what side it is tho will need to look in the garage.

I would clean the metal down even more, remember there could also be a zinc/ galv coating on the exhaust. If it dose it will be a right pain in the ass to weld neat with out the galv cleaned off first. I use a flap disc to egg anything back to shiny "new" metal before I weld. Also what gas are...

Bad earth is what I am thinking, tail lights come on and off with there own switch and also with the rear demister. Looks like I need to get the multi meter out and work this one out
