PS it looks like you can apply direct to rust surfaces as well as clean metal. I just bought myself the dynax stuff for treating Disco2 chassis, wondering if this would have been better!

I am new to welding and metalwork in general. Doing some work on trailer and wondering what's best to protect the exposed steel and weld bead? I have a few cans of cold galvanised spray which someone suggested but wondering if some of the proper mechanical folks in here have any advice?

Ha, my friend's Disco ceiling has been done with Homebase magnolia emulsion! Looks bloody horrible but almost fall for it from a distance!! I have a fairly good headlining so I would just like to keep it that way as long as possible, so I will try some evostik contact adhesive, good shout thanks

Christ almighty! That's beyond me for now, probably for ever. I think I will just have to stick the cloth back up, any recommendations for a glue which will do the trick? I think I will have to sadly seal my sunroofs which is a shame. :(

Thanks, but I think it would take a long time to see any water inside, as there is no visible leak, it looks like moisture/water build up which eventually dripped, so i dont think I can easily spray and check!

Thanks for that. I just looked and one end looks a bit manky so that probably needs a clean out. Not too easy to follow that document but will see if some sealant will help. Need to find some black sealant as I only have some white Stixall and that won't look too cool at the drag strip :D
