Years ago I took a S2a trials motor for a MOT, no roof or windscreen, the tester just said " no point in testing the washers, wipers or windscreen ".
It passed.

I didn't see anything wrong with the join, it was the only thing that it could be.
The crack cure is almost like water, it finds its way into the smallest gap, worth a try if you're still getting a leak.
I had a leak in the roof of my Double Cab, I found out it was the join in the roof above/behind the front seats.
I got some " Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure" ( I think that's what it's called ", that fixed it.
I got my 110 Double cab re-chassied by Engine 710 in South Queensferry last July the cost was 6k.
I didn't need anything else done other than the chassis.
If you drive a "dual purpose vehicle" a pick up with four doors, five seats ,four wheel drive and an unladen weight of no more than 2040 kg you can drive at " car" speeds, heavier than that you are restricted to 50mph on A roads and 60mph on motorways.
