Before my ownership my 110 Station Wagon apparently went to/around Morocco. It has standard height HD springs and terrafirma shocks(big bore I think?) front and rear. It does have a heavy winch and bumper on the front though. Mine does seem to sit a little higher than standard as it is.

What sort of trailer are you looking for? IIRC you are just up the road from me and could borrow mine if it's suitable.

If you want to eliminate the front prop being a factor just remove it and lock the centre diff. Go for a drive and if the vibration is still there the front prop isn't causing it.

You could unplug the electrical connections and short them out to see if the dash light comes on then. I'm pretty sure that the switch is normally open going closed so shorting the connectors would be the equivalent of diff lock engaged.

If it's held on in the same way as a normal surround then yes. 2 screws on the grill side and the sidelight and indicator need removing. It'll then just fall off.

When my wipers played up it was the contacts in the stalk switch. I ended up just giving the switch a good clean with contact cleaner and all was well again.
