I'm ordering one from westernpowersteering.. I've shopped around and for the effort of the extra £100, these guys have a good rep and looks like i can fit it and trust it. Few of the ebay adverts i've been are cheap seal kit replacements etc

Yeah i just took it out, there is a circlip behind it..

Just above that its also pitted into the seal area, i need to disassemble the box, but that will be a job for tomorrow to see if it's worth salvaging.. but from what i understand this is the outer seal right?

I believe britpart updated theirs in the last year.. don't quote me to that but i did notice that the rubber on the outsides got bigger.. I've heard buy genuine £100+ ones in the past year but tbh britpart ones are alright now, i guess they listened to the feedback

So what are peoples thoughts on this.. I have a genuine trans seal kit to go in, but now i'm just like well do i weld a bit to it and sand it down or do i just buy a whole new box?
