I doubt it will allow enough volume of air at full suck. Look at the diameter of the air feed pipe to the engine, that might give you a clue.

As well as the engine still being warm there will still be more oil in the upper parts of the engine, providing more protection against metal verses metal noise. Than you would get if you left the engine overnight to allow the oil to drain totally.
