Right had another look - I have had the switch apart and contacts look fine. When I turn the switch on and off I can hear the relay clicking. Power seems to be intermittent to the switch, 9-10V. However the dash light ALWAYS comes on regardless. Really am quite confused with this.

hmmmm all this trouble for something is never used. LED tail lights are brighter anyway! I will have another look with the meter and see if switch is getting power. Guessing it is as the dash lights up but we will see.

The strange thing is, even with the pos wire disconnected from the back of the truck for the fog light, it will still illuminate from the dash..... before i could weld, someone welded a new cross member on the back of my truck and melted the rear wiring harness. I replaced / repaired it as best...

Ok sorted the swivel issue and assembled all the hub back together. THEN the stupid drive flange wont go back in, the little shaft on it stops it about 5mm from the surface of the hub. WHY

I sorted the stiff swivel problem, tuned out to be incorrect spacing circlip which caused the CV to press too hard into the stub axle making it impossible to move. Now however for some reason I find that the swivel is extremely loose on the bottom pin and has loads of play. Really confused...

OK will give that brake bracket a go to see if it makes any improvement. What else should I look out for because I am going to have to get up exceptionally early to go and fix it haha and if the brake bracket doesn't solve the issue I want plan B (that isnt a Fiesta :D ) Any advice re Shims...

Oooh tho no I didn't have the brake line bracket on - however I did loosen the top bolts (helped a bit) but found removing the bottom pin very tight compared to the top.

by that do you mean the top pin or the bearing races? Either way pretty sure both of them are in properly.

Filled up the cooling system today following the engine rebuild. Once water got to the pump it came pouring out the back. There looks to be 2 outlets on the rear of the pump. One is already blocked the other just let the coolant flow out. What should be here? If so can I get a part number...

Update - removed the fuse for the aux/horn/foglight and its back to normal. So something is shorting somewhere. Bugger.

No it does not have an isolator. It is interesting that the headlight relay gets warm even though they haven't been on. I haven't changed any bulbs or anything recently. It just did this out of the blue.
