From what has been written and from what wazzajnr has wrote my first port of call would be to make sure that both key batteries are fully charged before proceeding with changing any bits

I'm not really confident enough to start messing as it may stop working altogether. Aside from taking it to a main stealer is there anyone who you would recommend to repair it ? Thanks

I had it upside down and applied a bit of pressure getting the battery cover to open..... The open button may have broken during this It flashes to lock but does not flash when pressing unlock

Thread revival....... Excellent work dopey, just followed your instructions to the letter.... Took about 5 hours to complete the job .... No more snagging bits!!!! Not a hard job but for anyone else who's tackling this you will need a friend to help get the sunroof out and back in again Free...
