Start you Bassa! Or, oh dear what could be wrong now

I had the feeling that it was an immobiliser type of thingy.

Start you Bassa! Or, oh dear what could be wrong now

I think I have figured out that she does not like being clean as everything that goes wrong happens after I have shed blood making her look her best.

Start you Bassa! Or, oh dear what could be wrong now

Today I had a, well another problem. It was home time and I had earned my pittance, I had loaded all my tools into the back of my Range and was sitting in the driving seat waiting to hear the reassuring roar of a V8 in fine fettle. Turned the key to the second position with everything lighting...

    EAS clicker rools OK

Following the advice from the good members of Landyzone, I went and procured an EAS kicker. Obtained a fairly cheap one from E-bay and kept it in the car not really knowing what for. Today driving to work ,"Air Suspension Inactive" message. Here we go, I thought this is this week's fault. The...

The dance of the roadside recovery.

Sincerely glad that you walked away. Not too sure what the result would have been in more mundane metal.

The dance of the roadside recovery.

If you look on Facebook, there are always "miracle" sprays which would claim to be able to get your RR back to pristine.

The dance of the roadside recovery.

That can not be a Corsa. There is actual metal in there.

The dance of the roadside recovery.

Because the car was recovered it was taken to my local garage who I am now on first name terms with. Fortunately the problem was a split pipe at the back of the engine. the pipe had apparently been cut to accomodate the LPG system and had split at the point of the joint. Because I was able to...

The dance of the roadside recovery.

I wrote a short while ago about how even a Range Rover sitting on the side of the road in a puddle of it's internal fluid is still a beautiful thing. I tested that theory properly today and I am afraid to say that I have it bad. I would still rather have my Range Rover on the back of a low...

The dance of the roadside recovery.

Well I have owned my beautiful big blue buxom baby a month now, and my Range Rover as well. In my youth, with few spare pound notes and a love of British vehicles, I learned the "dance of the roadside recovery". These dances are usually seen at the side of the road in company with a *smoking...

    L322 EAS problem!

Happy with that idea. Can you recommend a diagnostic kit. I don't have any problems yet, but being a realist with a Range Rover means accepting that i will need it at some time.

    Joining the club.

So it starts. Just cleaned the Range Rover, checked the oil and water and sprayed a few bits under the bonnet with WD40 ( basically anything with an electrical connection including the LPG control) and now the engine management light is on. I have a theory that cars do NOT like being cleaned...
