    anti roll bar spacers

    anti roll bar spacers

Yep i can knock up some spacers, just need to find somewhere to get the metal from, ally or steel as it needs to be about 150mm x 45mm x 40mm. Don't really want to weld anything to existing mounts as want to keep it reversable should i put the old girl back to stock suspension at a later date...

    anti roll bar spacers

eye i appriciate that the arb will limit movement but even more so now as it is so much closer to the prop than before, i'm just surprised there isn't as many firms selling arb spacers as there are selling lift kits ...

    anti roll bar spacers

I've finally given in and fitted a 2" lift to the old rangie and was just wondering if there is a spacer fit available for the anti roll bars or whether anyon'es done it or not? do i need tio bother? Chassis undersealing

personally being as you say it's not that rusty and you've treated it i would use the zinc primer, any kind will do spray or brush then i'd use some proper chassis black paint over the top as it doesn't crack and has a smoother finish which stops crud sticking to it as much it isn't expensive...

    rrc auto torque converter probs??

Yeh springs back well, feels lovely and smooth like a new cable should. I guess they are all like it but feeling for the stop on pulling the cable there is a positive 'stop point' but then if you pull a little harder the cable will pull out another 10mm or so, I even had a look at mrs rustys one...

    rrc auto torque converter probs??

Thanks chaps, I couldn't find any info on how to set the kickdown cable, as far as i remember haynes simply said ensure it doesn't stop full throttle operation ... i turned the actuating cam round half a turn or so to connect new cable then just set it up so it has a tad of freeplay with...

    rrc auto torque converter probs??

umm interesting, thanks chaps but now not sure if it's getting into 4th or not but revs at any given speed over 55 are higher than they should be even with foot off the gas so i assume it's not getting 4th? oil seems fine as i had to drain it to replace the kickdown cable. How is lockup actuated?

    north Wales lanes

Bit of a late reply... but thanks fellas for the tips, corwen was a minor disapointment as only just over the cills but a nice looking ford nonetheless and our kids loved it :D Oh and the v8 made it through without a splutter for a change! The wayfarers was a nice few hours out, just about...
