Yeah everything is striped and it need pillars, footwells and the drain gutter all from which I have purchased from YRM along with both both side of vent panel (full panels). I was just hoping that someone had a photo of what's supposed to be behind the vent panel holding the two tubes in place...

I going to be doing some repairs to the bulkhead. I've added some photos of where the windscreen bracket attaches, which at present isn't much. Anyone got any photos of whats its supposed to look like here? Cheers

I'm going to start mine. Bulkhead needs repairing, chassis has been patched but I'm going to re-chassis and be done with it! What chassis you buying?

Whats your bulkhead like? are you looking at galvanizing that?

What have you guys done for insurance when rebuilding your vehicles. My insurance is due mid Feb but defender coming off road in to my attached garage for full rebuild tomorrow. Any suggestions? Cheers

I'm a plater by trade also and I must admit I could fabricate a chassis no problem. I'm going to be buying a Marsland chassis as the last thing I want to be doing is a load of fabrication on my time off. I don't mind a little bit ie the bulkhead. The only concern I'd have is the heat when...

I've just done my CV and half shafts and bought them from Bearmach. Their next day delivery is great as the job grew arms and legs

I ground heads off and they came out with a set of stillsons. I know your past this point though - I'd try drill and easy outs first before drilling and re-tapping.

Not sure I just get my MOTs for the 90 and kit car there. They know what there talking about though. Maybe worth giving them a ring. Can you do the work yourself??

I use Davey bank test centre for my MOTs and they are rebuilding one for someone. Not sure what they would charge though.

If hes had it 10 years and he's a family member he should know all the issues and share them with you after all he's family. Worth a punt in my eyes

I've just done mine. Factor in time and money for seized bolts corroded brake hose bracket, new ball joints (mine were seized). I had to replace the brake disk mud shields also and 1 stub axle

Anyone got an XD chassis or know of anyone that has one. Just looking for recommendations as I've read a few horror stories on the other suppliers.
