What is the starting procedure from hot and cold for a 1989 110 with a 19j diesel engine? I have heard that these can be difficult to start from cold......surely not! Thx.

Yes it did come in a blue bag!! I shaved 5mm off and it fitted nicely.

Thx for this. I will try the long bolts technique. Perhaps the original LR seal was more easily compressed as I cannot believe that LR would have had to do this on initial assembly.

I am fitting my heater and having some difficulty with the heaterbox to bulkhead seal. The old one was purloined by mice as nest building material so dont have a reference. The new seal seems to be about 20mm to long. It fits into the heaterbox aperture with the cutout corner in the right place...

If you are not conversant with Land Rovers then take someone along who is. They are great vehicles but neglected ones will still work but could cost more that they are worth to repair.

Is it possible to get new seals for these? The seals just look like 'O' rings. My switch is also faulty but these are available. Thx for any ideas.

So what does restrict the downward suspension movement.......is it the shock absorbers at the front and a combination of the top link and the shockers at the rear?
