My understanding , before the inlet was replaced that while I was looking for leaks which I found on the inlet while boosting was that the turbo pipe changed in hardness to compensate what was being asked for compared to the nearside.. So I thought logically while boosting it would use more fuel...
I have just fitted a new inlet manifold as a result of working out the fault above and I get these faults after the rebuilt , I tried to erase on Gap but its not happening . I have checked all the plugs I had disconnected but nothing obvious there either.
The first fault showing the engine...
Trying to work out whether the aux lamps should come on while in a straight line when indicating to the same direction. Surely this would obscure the vision of spotting the indicator .
They come on (Aux) while negotiating bends , that seems right.
I have seen daylights on and disappear while...
Range Rover sport 2007 , should the , for the want of a better description, follow me round the corner lights, switch on when the inicator is used , this is when I have dipped lights on as well of course.
Just get the feling that maybe the indicator is obscured by the fact they come on ?
Have this fuel problem with 2007 L320 V8 diesal , overtaking and engine loses power.
Fault lies with P000E -00. Fuel Volume regulator control exceeded learning limit.
So after some research , there is a VOLUME CONTROL Valve on the pump ,. Can anyone help please, has anyone experianced this fault.
Well after the 20th reboot of the car systems and genrally replacing the BCM and Sat Nav I got the countdown and the car started on zero!
God knows what I did!
I removed the head unit and it still shows up Code - - - - on the instrument panel .I have also tried another one at a cost and a BCM. The car can be started with the starter crossed wired with the ignition on and Satnav unplugged and plugged.. However it is supposed to stop running after a...
Tried another BCM ECU and went through the process of renewing the module and nothing really , happened . I have gone through the procedure of taking battery lead off to deactivate locked code , displayed on the SAt Nav and still no countdown. Has anyone done this please and posted a success story.
Yes I can try , can see what happens, trouble is with that if it starts , then the crank sensor will send a message to the BCM to cut the engine , I think that will be what happens.
Will post later , tried 1926 as well , no luck.
Thanks for replying , so what your saying is that the immobiliser is the standard security measure , so the bcm is handling the one time password.
If I were to replace the Bcm , which possibly corrupt as does not count down in emergency deactivation , then as long its like for like part number...
If the Sat nav is required to input a personal code placed by someone in the past , and this code is lost , what is it communicating with , the BCM or the immobiliser. Does the immobiliser when it doesn't recognise the key chip allow the engine to turn but not fire up.
Or does it inhibit the...
Nothing to do with the key. The key turns the ign on , it's a personal lockout.
I have two keys so both can't be out.
Would anyone know if the Sat nav.is controlling the code to the BCM, whether the BCM is at fault and not receiving the code. There are no fault codes.
Is that how you read it?
Willing to try, but I think I've been there .Ive put in dozens of numbers and tried deactivate , then move through that with rotary switch to change etc but just alarms . Probably not doing it right!
Thanks just a b*** ache!
OK just read through again , so will try this...
