I have drilled and groves discs that are also ventilated on my '06 FL1. I have had lots of problems, as I use it off-road and will be changing back to 'plain' vented discs as soon as I can. Lots of noise, grinding sounds (probably need cleaning out) and squeals. I don't think the are worth it.

You will be looking out of the top 2-3 inches of the screen on an FL1. The seats are not height adjustable. You will also have to mind your head when getting in and out. Go test drive/sit in one is the only way.

Would putting a different make of the same size invalidate your warranty? I would doubt that. I had a brand new Skoda Yeti before my FL1 and ran winter tyres. Skoda recommended 2 sizes, one for using with snow chains and one without. They did not recommend a manufacturer. I would expect a...

I was amazed at the PTC heater this morning. It was freezing. I ran the engine while I scraped the side windows and by the time I reached the windscreen it was already half defrosted. I never realised how effective it was before.

So now we need to see some photos of the finished car.

I agree, but you have to start somewhere and I started with a high mileage (113,000 Mile) motor with a supposedly full Land Rover service history. But at that age lots of things start to need replacing...... and not everything was serviced properly!!! :D

That is great Ian. I may have spent quite a bit on mine, and only owned it for 15 months, but it hasn't broken down on me yet. Very happy with it now especially as it is just about sorted.

Have you Googled it? Lots of stuff about it. I think it is better than millers & 2-stroke oil.

Err one is on the cam at the top of the engine and the other on the crankshaft. I have not yet needed to replace mine so have no experience of either. They might be the same part number, but I can't check on RAVE as I don't have access to a PC.
