Mine was lumpy until I had 2 injectors replaced on my 06 Td4. It had 120,000 roughly at the time.

Straight up to the centre on my Td4.. Scangauge says it is around 86-89c

Sounds good. Can't do sat or sun, but could do Friday or Monday.

No harm in changing the filter. No need to replace the pump until it tells you it's had enough of this life!!

Yep. Checking it still works........ I use my leaf all the time now. Sooooo much cheaper to run. Going on holiday to Wales tomorrow and using the Freelander. Wanted to check it still worked!

Unlocked it. Started it. Turned it off. Locked it.

I started my 2006 Td4 this evening for the first time in 2 weeks. The glow plug light came on. Actually the fact that it unlocked was a good sign that the battery was okay :lol:

V8 petrol. Yum slurp yum slurp. Love the sound. I'm sure they are more economical than my old 3.5 carb RR Classic. Just. Need deep pockets to fill them up. £100+ for a tankful?

Have you had the fuel filter changed in the rear o/s wheel arch? The fuel pump (in the same place) lasts about 100,000 miles before giving up.

I may have missed the point, but if you don't want an off-roader, why buy a Freelander which IS an off-roader? (and very good off-road as many can demonstrate)

So many cars are now easy to nick without a key if you know how. I investigate the the thefts on a regular basis.
