I installed the lights. They are just plug and play though. They worked fine for weeks though and only went funny yesterday. I’m thinking it’s more loose connector or failing relay. I’ll have to have a look in the light to see what’s going on back there.

Does anyone know if there are two separate wires for each dipped beam from the switch? Seems odd that the dipped beam on one side doesn’t work on the main light switch and then the flash doesn’t work at for either side on the other stalk switch???

Horn is working so it’s not the fuse.

See that’s the odd one as all bulbs work on high beam which is the high led and dipped led simultaneously. So it’s the flash function on both sides and the dipped function on one side that aren’t working. (The lights themselves aren’t faulty) Odd as the high beam provides power to all these...

I’ve got mine finished now, tidied the mess up and got all lights running on proper connectors so it’s all plug and play. Here’s the before and after....

Morning! I’m busy sorting out the rear lights and came across a right birds nest behind the driver side stop/tail light. All the wires in the right of the picture all seem obsolete, many bare ended and quite a few joiners. Has anyone got any ideas of what they are/were for?

Thanks! I’m planning on currently doing a rolling resto to keep it going and do bits and pieces but then eventually do a full galv rebuild.

I sorted out the front lighting yesterday. Got rid of the NAS style LED lights and fitted the regular size smoked Wipac ones, Truck-lite LED phase 7 headlights fitted with Wipac bowls and all connected with AMP connectors. I also treated it all to some headlight surrounds and a new grill.

Mid front strip down, getting rid of the cracked front grill, rusty fittings and rusty bowls. Also found one wire earthed to the chassis by strapping it on using electrical tape. :confused:
