Funny I've misread Tonga with Tanga before the pics, and googled tanga green in open office. Sexy car and lovely colour. I am still looking for a green freelander pref 1.8, if it runs and drives fine I will buy it.

I have bmw etk as well including access to factory but still cannot find it. Same engine but intake is quite different past the inlet manifold.

Fuel filter won't do. May be a split hose which is more probable. Low pressure pump... needs proper diag before you guess it by changing parts.

Not really. Maybe if you air pressure the piston through the injector hole so valves won't fall in the rabbit hole. You will still need to remove the camshafts and time it so that is just a small step from removing the cylinder head. If there is a way or a rover k type of guide I am interested...

Thanks Nodge I shall look into it. Is the srs module separate (per side) or I need a srs module which is aware of both airbags, replacing existing? I will also have to see which PN to get as microcat says not fitted on my car.

Hi, for my 03 TD4 is it easy to retrofit an airbag for the passenger? The handle looks nice but not very useful in case of a crash. I can get the airbag itself for around 20 and I presume the cabling is there... Do I need computer or the most important bit does the ECU need to know? Thanks

Ah yes if you are fine with that insurance won't care. If you do want the v5, this may or may not qualify as a pitfall. I for example would not have a car without the V5 unless I intend to keep it until scraptime.

Well the PO told you insurance has it. Perhaps I am wrong and for that I apologise, it's just that I myself avoid giving any reasons to get done. Also, it may never come... my ex housemate applied for one which was in a similar situation. He sold the car advertising "v5 needs applying simple form".

It depends, most insurance companies spot it, in nearly all cases will just charge fat premiums and in rare ones don't insure it. For example, my last FL 1.8 which was cat N had a 130 quid insurance, and the td4 one which had nothing is 88. I live in Bradford where insurance scams are common...

Not a good idea or any car. Better get some LEDs for offroad. Cree ones should be very bright.
