Not sure what metal gasket you refer to. Are you looking in front of the engine or back? Exhaust is not in but out. There is a gasket there that looks metal but surely no way of losing coolant there.

No metal there just plastic and rubber... It is not easy to change but not hard either. The meal one is prob the cyl head one.

That I do not know sorry never had THAT issue. Check that gasket first could be easy fix if lucky. I don't think it's the head gasket in your case that will cause different signs.

Very likely and not uncommon. Might also evaporate fast if engine hot. Drive it around if it's not losing on idle and look on the rear of the engine, at the base of the manifold. That is were that silly gasket is. Can go by the feel as well. Mine had this issue and made me remove the cylinder...

Hi Did you check closely the inlet manifold... on the back of the engine. There is a cheeky gasket there.

Hi quick one... plugged in a cd changer becker, connectors are there but does anyone have any idea how I can "play" cds from there? No button or anything in the menu, tried pressing cd button a few times but nothing. Maybe the cd changer ones work with alpine only?
