Fitted new fuel pump, fuel hoses are full and no air bubbles. Wait for it, Wait for it, it will not start. It tries to start but kicks out loads of light blue smoke which smells of diesel. I was going to try and bleed the injector pipes but I read somewhere it will self bleed.

Will it be ok to use push fit connectors on the fuel pipe, I used them on the air suspension and work great

First and foremost I want to thank Grrrrr for going out of his way to call at my house and put his Nanocom on the car. I have bought a new fuel pump and I shall have a go at fitting it tomorrow. Thanks to all who have helped me sort it out. I sincerely hope I am able to return the favour.

Any one know where to get a decent fuel pump from?

I can hear the pump working when I turn the ignition on , after the clear pipe goes down about 4 inches. Removed the intake pipe on the filter and put the end in a bottle, fuel came through but nowhere near 180ml. it seemed more like dribble than a gush.

It does not have hot start, and I always have at least a quarter of a tank of fuel. There are no warning lights on the dash.

It did have but I have bought a new one, I thought there should only be 1 seal as it only shows 1 in the parts book. The main thing I am not sure of is how far to push in the oil seal.
