ok but why is it that it takes sport mode and is very quick and it takes it, so if I'm right it should be more than able to cope?

ok you all know where I'm coming from a td6 is very good but you can get more from them, all I get back is gear box problems, I have been a trucker for over 30 yrs never burnt a clutch out I think I have some idea how to drive, MY question was is has anyone add this done? And if so any problems...

thanks people, it's just that there is loads more power in these td6 to be unleashed, but I'm going with caution and leave well alone, thanks for the advise.

morning , I have done some research it seems if on original gear box it's not advised to remap as the alloy is of low grade, but the replacement box used high grade alloy so would stand more torque, what I really wanted to ask has anyone had a remap and if so any problems, thanks for your...

I think the only way to be sure is to get someone with mapping gear to run a check but I think they would charge a fee to run it, I'm getting 19mpg at the moment could do with a little more, don't want risk any damage to gear box as I can get it mapped to 210bhp and big increase in tourque. Rob

Mot is a good thing but allowance as to age must be taken into account, we must remember our cars are of an age where they could fail to the most newer ones and now we pay the price, after all this is not just for cleaner or safety of cars but to get them off the road.
