I've give it the usual JM70 Road Test and all seems well with the world...

So, I think I have discovered the fault… And I’ve replaced both hoses with smart blue ones! Now to road test!

No engine warning lights come on, it simply comes up with ‘engine system fault’ and reduces power. Stop and turn it of (or do a rolling restart if you’re clever😉) and the problem vanishes.

It didn’t give anything else, just the code and then some description about irregular flow on sensor A It’s a TDV8 so I think they run sequentially.

Yeah, I'm starting with 2 new hoses and working from there - everything I read suggests it's hoses.

I have finally had a free 20 mins to plug the Snap-On diagnostic thingy in and the only code I get back is P023D which shows as Sensor A pressure etc. etc. Unless someone has a magnificent idea, I'm going to start by replacing the hoses and go from there...
