Yeah i just took it out, there is a circlip behind it..

Just above that its also pitted into the seal area, i need to disassemble the box, but that will be a job for tomorrow to see if it's worth salvaging.. but from what i understand this is the outer seal right?

I believe britpart updated theirs in the last year.. don't quote me to that but i did notice that the rubber on the outsides got bigger.. I've heard buy genuine £100+ ones in the past year but tbh britpart ones are alright now, i guess they listened to the feedback

So what are peoples thoughts on this.. I have a genuine trans seal kit to go in, but now i'm just like well do i weld a bit to it and sand it down or do i just buy a whole new box?

Yeah that's what i was under the impression of - i was thinking in my head are all the splines the same count because the steering columns for the steering wheel are different.. Going to recon my just gone steering box so will hopefully go smooth :vb-eyes: Cheers guys
